About me

I’m a passionate UX/UI Designer who believes technology's main role is to make the human life better, safer, easier and more beautiful. I use all my strong background in engineering and design to do my part.

Background

I worked for years as an Electrical Engineer in Brazil and earned a Master’s Degree in Automation and Control. However, I felt that technical skills alone were not sufficient. Considering this, I enrolled myself in an MBA in Marketing, and a whole new world opened up for me. I took numerous other courses and eventually obtained a PhD in Design Management as part of Production Engineering program.

UX/UI Design

I moved 2011 to Berlin and a few years later, I started work at a technology startup, where I engaged in a variety of activities such as Python and Javascript programming, graphic and web design, and develop the web interface for parametrisation of the GPS-Based reference devices, among others.

In 2022 the company was sold, and I made the decision to embark on a new career path as a UX/UI Designer.

Over the years, I have taken several courses on design thinking, service design, innovation, futures thinking, the future of work, UX Design, and related topics. Furthermore, I have been delivering many of these courses in Brazil, both in person and online.

Learning complex subjects and presenting them in a way that everyone can understand has always been my role as a lecturer, speaker, and writer. I believe that UX/UI Design is just another avenue to accomplish this.

UX/UI Design education

I just got the UX Design Google Professional Certificate, have completed the Ironhack UX/UI Design Full Time Immersive Bootcamp and finished a UX/UI Design Internship at Craftguide.

Learning is my favourite thing. I am definitively a lifelong learner.
